Terms & Conditions
THE GUESTS AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- To secure your reservation we ask for a $300 security deposit preferably by e-transfer. The deposit will be returned to you after your departure and a satisfactory inspection of the chalet. We accept Visa, MC, Interac, cash or cheque. The total amount of the rental is due two (2) days before the arrival date.
- Cancellation policy: If you cancel a reservation 30 days or more prior to the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded, minus a $100 administration fee. If you cancel a reservation within 29 days of the arrival date, your deposit will NOT be refunded.
- To leave the chalet, at time of departure, in the same condition as you found it on your arrival.
- NO SMOKING inside the chalets. If detected, a $200 cleaning fee will apply.
- Only dogs may be allowed on the property WITH RESTRICTIONS. No other animals are allowed. See Dog Restrictions and Regulations (below).
- Check-in time is 4:00pm (earlier if possible— please contact Chalets Val Carroll) and the time of departure is no later than noon.
- Observe all fire bans posted by the municipality.
- No fireworks of any kind are to be set off anywhere on the property.
- There are NO LIFEGUARDS at any time. Parents are responsible for their children's safety. All water sports (swimming, boating, fishing, etc.) are at your own risk and responsibility. A limited number of life jackets are provided for use with the boats and kayaks.
- Quiet time must be observed from 11:00 PM to 08:00 AM.
- Bed linens and bathroom towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. Please do not take bathroom towels to the dock or beach areas; fines will be applied.
- Rates may change without notice.
DOG RESTRICTIONS AND REGULATIONS:
- Only dogs may be allowed on Chalets Val Carroll property. No other animals are allowed.
- Only quiet, small to medium, non-shedding dogs may be accepted. Prior approval must be obtained from Chalets Val Carroll.
- An amount of $20 per night per dog will be charged.
- Additional fees will be charged in the case of any damage to the property caused by the dog, whether outdoors or in the chalets.
- Dogs must never be left unattended anywhere on the property.
- Outdoors, dogs must be kept on a leash (maximum length of 3 meters/9 feet) and remain under supervision at all times.
- It is the responsibility of the dog’s owner to ALWAYS pick up their animal’s excrement and dispose of it properly.
- Dogs that bark, howl, cry or otherwise interfere with the well-being, tranquility and safety of other guests or employees will not be tolerated and cannot remain on the property.
- Aggressive dogs and their owner will not be tolerated and cannot remain on the property.
- Under no circumstances will Chalets Val Carroll be responsible in the case of an altercation between two guests’ dogs.
- Any person who violates any of these rules will be required to leave the property immediately.
